11.3 Outlining My Public Argument



Introduction
·         Finding how the issue will relate to the lives of the audience and should the issue make a profound statement in the lives of the audience.
·         I will find what will draw the audience to the issue by current events in the media?
·         I will let the audience know what can happen if the issue is not addressed.
·         If I downsize the issue so it can be more realistically acted upon.

Conclusion
Action
The reader could address the issue by attending town halls, writing to legislators, getting more involved in the communities they live in, researching if they currently have health insurance what is the best affordable coverage.
Negative
If nothing is done things will get worse, illnesses and deaths will increase because American are not coverage by health insurance and get treated properly.
Positive
Having affordable health care will afford Americans to stay healthy and be productive in society.
Future of Debate

Healthcare in the economy will always be ongoing as the elements of not being able to maintain insurance is a factor for Americans. How can we guarantee that Americans will have healthcare?

  1. I think you did a fantastic job with your outline. I especially like your introduction. I think it's a great idea to appeal to your audiences emotions right from the start. I like the way you explained what you will be doing in the body section of your project with the flow chart. It was very easy to follow but also sufficiently detailed. I also like how in your plan for your readers action you include them questioning how the issue impacts not only their lives but their communities.

  2. I like the flow chart! It helps me see exactly what you are going to talk about and in what order too. I also like that you have devised different plans of action your audience can partake in.
